Getting Started with ConveyGrid — A Complete Onboarding Guide for Data Fiduciaries.

Everything you need to set up your account, configure your first consent notice, and start capturing compliant consent.

Introduction Welcome to ConveyGrid This guide will walk you through the essential steps to get your organization up and running on our platform. By the end of this guide, you will have configured your first consent notice and integrated it with your application.
Account Setup & Verification Before you can start creating consent notices, you need to verify your organization’s details.
  1. Log in to your ConveyGrid Admin Console.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Organization Profile.
  3. Provide your company’s legal name, registered address, and the contact details of your Data Protection Officer (DPO).
  4. Upload your business incorporation certificate for verification.
Creating Your First Consent Notice A consent notice informs the Data Principal about what data you are collecting and why.
  1. Go to the Consent Configurations tab and click Create New Notice.
  2. Define the Purpose: Clearly state why you are collecting the data (e.g., ‘To process your e-commerce order and arrange delivery’).
  3. Specify Data Points: List the exact personal data attributes you require (e.g., Name, Shipping Address, Phone Number).
  4. Language Support: Enable regional languages if your user base requires it. ConveyGrid automatically provides translations using Bhashini.
  5. Publish: Click Publish to generate your unique Notice ID.
Basic Integration Once your notice is published, you can integrate it into your frontend application using our SDK or API.
// Example using ConveyGrid Web SDK
import { ConveyGrid } from '@sammatitrail/web-sdk';

const sg = new Sammatitrail({ apiKey: 'YOUR_PUBLIC_KEY' });

sg.requestConsent({
  noticeId: 'NOTICE_12345',
  userIdentifier: 'user@example.com',
  onSuccess: (artefactId) => {
    console.log('Consent acquired:', artefactId);
    // Proceed with processing
  },
  onError: (error) => {
    console.error('Consent failed:', error);
  }
});
